Eventide Medicine is joining hands with Experience Wellness — a 501(c)(3) — to bring the healing art of community acupuncture to the Monterey Peninsula, making restorative care more accessible, more communal, and more present in the lives of those who need it most.
What to Expect
Our community acupuncture clinic is a sanctuary of shared stillness. You will be welcomed into a calm, softly lit room and guided into one of our zero-gravity chairs — designed to cradle the body into a posture of effortless ease, allowing every muscle to soften before the first needle is placed.
Treatments are offered in a peaceful group setting, with several guests receiving care at the same time. Far from feeling clinical, the shared room carries a quality of collective rest that many patients find uniquely restorative — a gentle reminder that healing, like so much of life, is something we do together.
This model allows us to offer significantly reduced rates without compromising the quality or attentiveness of your care. Each treatment is still individualized — your intake, points, and session. It is simply acupuncture made accessible: no less effective, no less personal, just a different — and often deeply moving — way to receive.
Sliding Scale Rates
Our community acupuncture clinic operates on a sliding scale of $40–$80 per session. You choose the rate that honestly reflects your current financial situation — no proof required, no questions asked.
We trust you to know where you are. When those with more choose the higher end, they make space for those who need the lower end. This is how community care sustains itself.
Access Rate
For those experiencing financial hardship, unemployment, or fixed income. Please choose this rate if you genuinely need it.
Standard Rate
For most patients with stable income and moderate expenses. This is where most people land, and it keeps the clinic in balance.
Sustaining Rate
For those with comfortable income, financial security, or employer benefits. Choosing this rate actively subsidizes care for others.
No documentation is required. We ask only that you reflect honestly and choose accordingly. Every rate receives the same quality of care.
